This Hong Kong micro brewery needed a new logotype. Its new range of beers linked to local landmarks and Chinese events also needed labels, beer mats and table top tent cards. We enjoyed researching the market!
To create a new logotype for the company plus labels and point of sale material for its new range of beers to be sold in shops and bars.
Target market & behaviour / insights:
Expat and local drinkers who like to be individual and choose non mass market beers. They like to feel patriotic, but are used to many cultures and also appreciate the use of good quality ingredients and craftsmanship.
How do we want viewers to feel:
These beers look great. I love the East and West link and they make a refreshing change from the mass market beers normally on offer in Hong Kong and Southern China.

Ideas that appealed to both Westerners and Asians were needed. We used graphic illustrations next to bi-lingual typography creating a successful fusion of both cultures
