03 Dec Tewkesbury By The Sea? Images from the floods…
Much of Gloucestershire suffered badly from the recent floods. The Avon and Severn Rivers join at Tewkesbury and when inundated with water the surrounding flood plains swell to overflowing. Roads and routes were disrupted but seem to be back to normal now.
The floods, which were still far less devastating than those of 2007, transformed the area. We captured some beautiful images of the calm and – at least for now – serene landscapes near the town.
Thankfully our new studio in Twyning, just north of Tewkesbury, although near the Avon, is away from the flooding. If you are passing and want to discuss a project over a coffee – or a pint down one of our lovely village pubs – please let us know.
