About This Project

Emotional Intelligence at Work wanted to update their image with a new logo and identity which could be applied across website and printed material.

Brief:
To create a new look through logotype, typography and colours that suggests to viewers what Emotional Intelligence at Work does, hopes to achieve and the potential benefits in using them.

Target market & behaviour / insights:
Business owners, directors, team leaders in businesses with £2m + turnover. They have a problem in their business which inevitably leads to some sort of sticking point. They are not clear why or how this is happening and are themselves unable to move things forward. They may have tried ‘conventional’ business coaches and methods without great success. They realise however something needs to be done and need a more intelligent or perhaps lateral approach. They are open to discussing less obvious methods.

How do we want viewers to feel:
“Emotional Intelligence at Work could be worth investigating. They seem to offer something more than other coaches and advisers I have met. I am intrigued by what I see as it gives me the impression they have a wider understanding of business obstacles. They delve deeper and look at things from the personnel and behavioural side – that’s not usual and it may discover and unlock a hidden problem.”

I will look at the web site. I’d like to know more.

The proposition:
Emotional Intelligence at Work identifies and removes obstacles preventing business success.

The outcome:
EIW use four models to help with client problems, so four was a key number. They combine psychology with sound business sense so the new logo features a clever visual trick of the eye, suggesting debate but also a solution. The colours, style and typography were all carried over to the web site with great success. www.emotionalintelligenceatwork.com
