About This Project
The Twyning Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) is being put together by volunteers who need to collect local opinions as well as gather basic facts about the village. This will be part of the statutory development plan for the area and will give residents of Twyning Parish more of a say in future developments, regeneration and conservation over the next 20 years.
To give a professional appearance PRH Design created a new logo, posters for local circulation and attention grabbing banners (left) for exhibition stands and events.
Target market & behaviour / insights
Local community of all ages. Many people are happy to voice their opinions. However, a typical reaction may be that it “doesn’t concern me” or “it won’t matter what I say – they’ll do it anyway!”
How do we want viewers to feel
This looks interesting and I can have a say in what happens in my village. If we all give opinions then we can influence the character of the neighbourhood and preserve what we like about it. We also have a say in what we’d like too change as well.
With the TNDP, I can have an opinion that is valued.
The logo takes inspiration from Twyning’s situation between the two rivers of the Avon and Severn. The posters use everyday topics of conversation around the village – farming, transport, lighting, internet connectivity and housing for example.
Responses have been numerous and varied, enabling the team to collect opinions from all ages and all sectors which will be used in compiling a final document – The Twyning Neighbourhood Development Plan.
